TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE SUPPLY OF GOODS TO CONSUMERS

All content, design elements, and imagery on this website are the property of Carmel Church Road Ltd, unless otherwise credited. They may not be reproduced, copied, or shared for commercial use without our written permission.
While we do not currently trade online, this website is designed to inform and inspire, and to support in-person appointments, events, and community engagement.
4. Product Information
As we are not currently selling online, product details are available in-store. We reserve the right to adjust prices or product availability at any time.
5. Returns & Exchanges
We do not offer refunds, but we’re happy to offer exchanges within 14 days of purchase.
Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging and accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
This policy applies to in-store purchases only and excludes bespoke, perishable, or sale items.

6. Events & Workshops
We host workshops and events in-store. Attendance may require a booking in advance. Full details, costs (if applicable), and any terms specific to the event will be shared at the time of booking. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event may not be eligible for refund.
7. Liability
We aim to ensure all information on our site is accurate and up-to-date, but we cannot guarantee it. We are not liable for any errors or omissions, nor for any loss or damage arising from use of this site.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Please check back periodically for the latest version.
9. Privacy & Cookies
We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our site uses cookies to enhance performance and analytics. By continuing to browse, you agree to their use. You can update preferences via your browser at any time.

These terms apply to all purchases made in-store or through direct contact with Carmel Church Road Ltd. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.
1. Where to find information about us and our products
You can find everything you need to know about us, Carmel Church Road Ltd, and our products on our website www.carmelchurchroad.com or from our sales team before you place an order. We also confirm the key information to you in writing before or after your order - either by email, verbally, or on paper.
2. When you buy from us you are agreeing that:
2.1. We only accept orders when we've checked and confirmed them.
2.2. Sometimes we reject orders.
2.3. We charge you when we accept your order.
2.4. We charge interest on late payments.
2.5. We pass on increases in VAT.
2.6. We charge for home delivery, which will be confirmed at time of order.
2.7. We're not responsible for delays outside our control.
2.8. You're responsible for making sure your measurements are accurate.
2.9. We may charge you if you don't provide required information or access.
2.10. You can end an ongoing contract (if applicable).
2.11. You have rights if there is something wrong with your product.
2.12. We don’t compensate you for all losses caused by us or our products.
2.13. We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
2.14. You have several options for resolving disputes.
2.15. Other important legal terms apply.
2.16. Certain products may contain natural variations that are not considered defects.
2.17. We retain ownership of goods until full payment is received.
2.18. We offer exchanges only within 14 days of purchase.
2.19. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
3. We only accept orders when we’ve checked them
If you place an order in-store, via email or over the telephone, we’ll confirm receipt and acceptance of your order within 3 working days.
4. Sometimes we reject orders
This may occur if:
We cannot verify payment.
You are located outside our delivery zones.
The product was mispriced.
We reasonably believe the product is being purchased for resale.
In any case, we will refund any sums you have paid.
5. We charge you when we accept your order
Full payment is required at time of order confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. We charge interest on late payments
If we’re unable to collect any owed payments, we may charge interest at 5% per annum above the Bank of England base rate. This applies from the due date until actual payment is made.
7. We pass on increases in VAT
If VAT changes between your order date and the delivery date, we’ll adjust the rate accordingly, unless you’ve already paid in full.
8. We charge for delivery
Delivery charges (if applicable) will be confirmed at the time of order. We do not currently offer international shipping.
9. We're not responsible for delays outside our control
If supply is delayed due to an event beyond our control (e.g. shipping disruption, customs delays, supplier issues), we will contact you. If the delay is significant, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund for any items not received.
10. You're responsible for making sure your measurements are accurate
If we are supplying goods to your specifications, it is your responsibility to ensure that measurements are correct. Please contact hello@carmelchurchroad.com if you need guidance.
11. We may charge you if you don’t provide necessary access or information
If additional delivery attempts, access, or equipment are required because of missing or incorrect information, we may charge additional fees to cover those costs.
12. You can end an ongoing contract
Where an ongoing contract (e.g. subscription, repeat service) exists, we will confirm the terms and your cancellation rights at the time of order.
13. You have rights if something is wrong with your product
If a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a replacement or exchange in line with your statutory rights. Contact hello@carmelchurchroad.com as soon as possible.
14. We don’t compensate you for all losses caused by us or our products
14.1. We are not liable for:
Losses that were not foreseeable.
Losses caused by events outside our control.
Avoidable losses — e.g. where you failed to mitigate damage.
14.2. If you use the product in a business or professional context, our liability is limited to the price you paid. We exclude all liability for loss of profit or indirect or consequential damages.
15. We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy
Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK GDPR requirements.
16. Disputes

16.2. You may use Retail ADR if we cannot resolve your complaint directly.
16.3. These terms are governed by English law. You may bring legal proceedings in England or in the UK country where you reside.
17. Other important terms
17.1. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation.
17.2. This contract is between you and us. No third parties have rights under it.
17.3. If any part of this contract is found to be unlawful, the rest remains in effect.
17.4. We may delay enforcing these terms, but we can still enforce them later.
18. Product Characteristics & Variations
Some of our goods are handmade, antique, or naturally imperfect. Variations in finish, tone, and form are normal and are not considered faults.
19. Ownership & Risk
Ownership of the goods passes to you only once full payment has been received. Risk in the goods transfers to you upon collection or delivery.
20. Exchanges Only Policy
We do not offer refunds. However, you may return eligible items for an exchange within 14 days of purchase, subject to:

21. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations if caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. war, pandemic, flooding, strike, government action, or supplier failure).
